This is the Leidse Schouwburg. It is a monument and a theater. On the first of October 1705 the theater opened its doors, with a play by Bontius about the liberation of Leyden in the year 1574. Therewith Leyden was the third city with a permanent public theater.

Last year some children of our group and some children of the previous group eight have participated in a play in the Leidse Schouwburg by the Youth Theater House.
